Men's Skirt: The Last Temptation of Fashion?

Since the Teuton and Celtic era men have been confining themselves to wearing trousers. Thus, nearly 3000 years of societal limitations and 3 centuries of quite clear-cut separate spheres between men and women have to be dismortgaged when it comes to opening up to a less rigid game with clothing.

For half a century women have been able to choose between skirts or trousers - as opposed to men, who apparently haven't ever really had a choice.

It is about time for a little bit of men's emancipation and for the liberation from well-worn opinions.
